Esteemed directors, delegates, and guests,Welcome to SHASMUN XII! My name is Allison Wang, a freshman at Shanghai American School Puxi Campus (SASPX). It is my honor to serve as your President for the International Monetary Fund (IMF). For the past four years, I have participated in 11 conferences, four of which I attended as a chair. For the upcoming conference, I will be focusing on the topic of Measures to prevent AI development from overtaking the service sector. My name is Antoni Nawrocki, and I am currently a Senior at UWC Changshu.
I have participated in numerous Model United Nations conferences both in China and Europe, where I have gained valuable experience in debate, diplomacy, and resolution drafting. Throughout my MUN journey, I have served in various committees, including SC, World Bank, ECOSOC, and many others.
This year, I am honoured to chair the International Monetary Fund addressing the challenges of digital currencies. I am excited to explore the complexities of this issue, as well as meet all of you guys in Shanghai. I hope to make our finance-related debate take unexpected turns and see your knowledge of the topic.

Hello SHASMUN secretariats and other honorable chairs! I am Claire Hsu, a current sophomore in SASPX! It is my honor to join all of you guys in the upcoming SHASMUN conference! I would like to apologize in advance for this late confirmation as I was on the recently held TheTen trip. I have been participating in MUN conferences as a delegate since 8th grade going to both school conferences and ASDAN conferences. I have won the best delegate twice specifically in MUN UChicago and ILMUNC with UPENN hosting. Furthermore, I have chaired in CISSMUN last year and attended other school conferences as well! The topic I will be writing a chair report for is resolving Greece’s debt crisis!
